Belt dryers have a wide range of applications, and they are currently used in pharmaceutical, food, biological, chemical and other fields. For example, in the pharmaceutical industry (especially in traditional Chinese medicine), the viscosity of the extract is generally high, and the drying temperature is more stringent. The melting point should be controlled precisely (especially for the polysaccharides). The vacuum control range must be different. The heating temperature of the segment requires an online automatic adjustment function and so on. In addition, the detection system should be as complete as possible to comply with the pharmaceutical GMP standards. For the food industry, the solids content of the material extracts are generally relatively large (above 65%). The requirements for production volume, specific volume and appearance of the product are key in the selection criteria of vacuum belt dryers, and food grade vacuum belts. There are two factors that must not be ignored in the selection process of the dryer: one is the consumption ratio of the unit's energy consumption, and the other is the delivery of auxiliary equipment such as raw materials, the fine crushing of the dried product, and packaging. As for the vacuum belt dryers used in biology and chemical industry, because the products are in different forms, the selection criteria are extremely complicated. Therefore, extra caution is required.
